Police attempt to arrest Nicki Minaj in Amsterdam for allegedly 'carrying drugs'

Authorities in Amsterdam attempted to arrest Nicki Minaj for alleged drug possession, according to an Instagram Live and a series of posts on X that the rap superstar shared on Saturday.

An official can be heard saying in the live video that they wanted to arrest the Grammy winner for allegedly “transporting drugs” – which she denied.

“I’m not going into that. I need a lawyer present,” Minaj, 41, explained while reportedly at an airport.

After some protests, the “Barbie World” rapper's video showed her getting into a police vehicle.

She then worried about her upcoming show and the officer assured her that someone would “try to get her there” as soon as possible.

She is currently on her Pink Friday 2 world tour. It is unclear whether she was actually arrested at a police station.

“Keep in mind that they took my luggage without my consent. My security has already told them that these pre-rolls belong to him. Oh yeah and the pilot wants me to delete my Instagram post.
