Police arrest man, 32, in fatal shooting at west Lincoln strip club

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities made an arrest Tuesday in a double homicide at a Lincoln strip club.

Christopher Z. Johnson, 32, of Lincoln, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of using a firearm to commit a felony.

Police said investigators tracked him to Omaha, where he was arrested after a chase, with the help of several agencies.

Carlos Silva, 39, and Terrell Jones, 40, were shot to death around 2 a.m. Saturday at the Office Gentleman's Club near West Van Dorn and South Folsom streets.

Both men were taken to a hospital, where they later died, according to police.

Investigators believe the shooting happened during an argument outside the club. The shooting appears to be an isolated incident, police said.

Police said an update on the shooting would be given at a briefing Wednesday.

Johnson is in the Douglas County Jail, waiting to be transported back to Lancaster County.
