Police arrest gunman wanted in Bucks Co. carjacking – NBC10 Philadelphia

Bucks County police officials have made an arrest after a driver was carjacked in Warminster Township Tuesday afternoon.

Police say authorities apprehended one of the suspected gunmen — although they have not yet provided information that could identify the individual — after a driver reported that two gunmen held him at gunpoint while he sat in his vehicle along the 200 block of E. County line road in Warminster Township.

Then, around 2:13 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said a vehicle involved in that robbery – a black Dodge Charger – was spotted heading east on Street Road near Bensalem, traveling at a high rate of speed.

Police converged on that area and learned, a short time later, that a car matching the description of the stolen vehicle had been “abandoned” near the intersection of Brown and Olga avenues in the Eddington neighborhood of Bensalem.

Officials said a caller told police they saw two men running away after leaving the vehicle.

Responding officers found a man who they said matched the description of a person involved in the robbery and he was arrested and taken to the Bensalem Police Department.

However, authorities said, the investigation determined there was no second suspect in the vehicle.

Authorities said the man was taken into custody and the vehicle was towed to the Bensalem Police Department.
