Phoenix woman injured in overnight stabbing, suspect on the run

PHOENIX — Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stabbed a woman multiple times in Phoenix in the early hours of Sunday, Phoenix police said.

Officers responded to a parking lot near Glendale and 19th Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday, where they found a woman who had suffered multiple stab wounds.

The victim was seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment.

Police said the suspect, identified as a man, left the scene before they arrived.
