Person stabbed on Muni bus in SF's Mission District

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A person was stabbed on a Muni bus Monday afternoon in the Mission District, according to the San Francisco Police Department. The stabbing occurred around 3:40 p.m. in the area of ​​18th and Mission streets.

Police arrived on scene and saw the victim with multiple stab wounds, according to SFPD. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was last seen in the area of ​​24th Street and Mission Street, SFPD said. No further information about the suspect has been released by SFPD.

Video from the Citizen app (above) shows crews responding to the stabbing as an ambulance was called to the scene.
