Person stabbed at high school graduation in South El Monte

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department sent deputies to a high school graduation after someone stabbed a person on campus.

It happened around 9:15 p.m. when the suspect stabbed a bystander in the chest and back before fleeing the school.

The victim is in unknown condition.
