MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man was shot Tuesday evening in Midtown Manhattan, officials say.

The shooting happened when a 33-year-old man got into an argument with another man around West 33rd Street and Broadway, near Herald Square, around 8 p.m., according to the FDNY.


The man was shot in the leg, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries, authorities said.

Police said the suspect fled on a black scooter.
