Pagosa Springs Murder Victim Identified

(PAGOSA SPRINGS, Colo.) — A 39-year-old woman who was shot and killed in Pagosa Springs on Tuesday, July 2, has been identified by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and persons of interest have been identified in the case.

In an update to the case on Wednesday, July 3, the CBI said the victim had been identified as Crystal Snow, 39, of Pagosa Springs. Snow's body was discovered Tuesday morning, July 2, after a 911 call was received around 2:20 a.m., when no one was on the other end of the line.

Archuleta County Sheriff's Office officers responded to the call, which came from Snow's home in the 1000 block of County Road 700, west of Pagosa Springs. When they arrived, they found Snow dead from multiple apparent gunshot wounds.

The CBI said Snow's death is being investigated as a homicide and several persons of interest have been identified, though no arrests have been made. The CBI believes this was a targeted shooting and does not consider there to be a threat to the public.
