Paducah woman arrested in stabbing case Saturday night | News

PADUCAH — A Paducah woman was arrested Saturday evening after allegedly stabbing one woman and cutting another, the Paducah Police Department reported Monday.

A press release from the department states that officers responded at 8:50 p.m. on Saturday, June 1 to the 2300 block of Ohio Street for a report of an unknown problem. Police found Osheonna S. Garnett, 23, of Ohio Street, stabbed one victim in the abdomen during an argument and cut a second victim while trying to break up the fight.

The first victim was flown to Louisville for treatment with life-threatening injuries and was reported to be in stable condition Monday. The second victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, the release said.

Garnett was arrested for first-degree assault and second-degree assault.
