Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives continue to search for a person of interest who may have been involved in a deadly shooting Saturday in the Bay Lakes Estates area east of St. Cloud.

Early this afternoon, police said they were called to a home on Bronco Drive, just off Old Melbourne Highway, in reference to a shooting. Witnesses noticed a police presence in the area shortly after 2 p.m., with paramedics and the Sheriff's STAR air unit in the area. Deputies said a man was shot during a gathering. The victim was transported to a local hospital and died from his injuries. Sheriff Marcos Lopez called the shooting an isolated incident.

Law enforcement is looking for Joshua Michael Alan Miller, 29, in connection with the incident. Social media posts related to the incident indicated the suspect is known to frequent and may be in suburban areas near Holopaw.

“If you come into contact with the above-mentioned person of interest, please exercise caution and contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office immediately,” a statement from the sheriff’s office Saturday evening said.

Miller has a lengthy arrest record, with arrests for assault, evading police, drug possession, burglary and grand theft dating back to 2014.
