Orlando home partially collapses in Saturday morning fire

The Orlando Fire Department was able to extinguish a house fire early Saturday, but not after severe damage to the residence. According to the OFD, firefighters responded to a house fire in the 400 block of Danton Avenue shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire on both floors of the two-story residence as well as a partial collapse of the second floor of the home. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire and the occupants of the home were not injured in the fire. Firefighters are working to determine the cause of the fire.

According to the OFD, firefighters responded to a fire at a home in the 400 block of Danton Avenue shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, firefighters were confronted with heavy fire on both floors of the two-story residence as well as a partial collapse of the second floor of the home.

Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire and the occupants of the home were not injured.

Firefighters are working to determine the cause of the fire.
