One was stabbed and cut multiple times with a razor on Ames Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Police are searching for a suspect after a person was found on Ames Street Saturday with several lacerations to their upper body.

Around 2:06 p.m., police responded to a section of Ames Street near Maple Street for reports of a man who had been stabbed and cut with a razor. Upon arrival, police found a 52-year-old man with several cuts to his upper body.

The man was transported to URMC where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still searching for a suspect described as a black man, approximately 40 years old, who left the scene on foot.
