One person reportedly killed by falling tree near Anchorage

LMPD: One person reportedly killed by falling tree near Anchorage, Lyndon area

So, friends, let's go. MATT, ANY LAST WORDS BEFORE RETURNING PEOPLE TO THE PROGRAM? Jay, you were talking about analysis for the evening. I was just looking towards that too. IN THE LATEST MODELS, WE'RE REALLY STARTING TO RETURN OUR ATTENTION BACK TO THE NORTH AND WEST. SEPT 8:00 PM TONIGHT UNTIL SUNSET AND THROUGH EASTERN EVENING WHEN IT IS STILL VERY LIKELY. I think a second line of storms will arrive around metro time. With that, about an hour or so, I would say nine hours, nine hours. YEAH. ALL RIGHT. So we're looking towards mid-evening. WE HAVE A CHANCE OF STORMS. RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. WE WILL START TO RISE AGAIN IN UH FOR THE SUBWAY EARLIER TO THE WEST. A LITTLE LATER TOWARD THE EAST. THIS WILL BE FOR THE SECOND ROUND. IF THIS in fact materializes as we move on to this Sunday evening. BUT FOR NOW, THE SERIOUS THREAT IS MOVING AWAY FROM THE W WLKY OBSERVATION ZONE. THE STRONG THREAT OF THE WIND. THINGS ARE CALMING DOWN IN OUR REGION. THAT CAN'T SAY WE WON'T HAVE MORE RAIN AND THUNDER ROLLS. THERE MAY STILL BE A FEW PRETTY STRONG STORMS IN OUR FAR SOUTH COMMUNITIES EVEN THIS AFTERNOON, BUT A GENERATED AND SEVERE THREAT. I think we're almost done for the afternoon. We will have to re-evaluate. As Matt talked about what's happening tonight, we'll keep you guys updated. NO QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS. So for Matt, for Suzanne, for Mo, for Daniel, I'm chief meteorologist Jay Cardosi. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR KEEPING, UH, LETTING US KEEP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SAFE AND INFORMED DURING THIS ACTIVITY. Don't go anywhere. KEEP US, uh, keep us tuned in, you know, thanks to leaking your mobile device from all of our, uh, Facebook and social media platforms. WE will definitely keep YOU informed. STAY AWARE OF THE WEATHER DURING THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON. AND SUNDAY EVENING. TO LEAVE'
