LMPD was called to the area of 2nd and Oaks streets around 6:25 p.m. for a crash. Police found a car and a tree on fire when they arrived, the fire then spread to a nearby building. Initial reports indicate the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed in the westbound lanes of Oak Street when it struck a parked car and a tree.
