JACKSONVILLE, Florida. – A 16-year-old who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed robbery in the shooting death of another teen in Sandalwood last September will be sentenced Monday.

Bobby Dann, then 15, Gabriel Waisanen and Me'Kel Queen attempted to rob a drug dealer, prosecutors say.

Investigators found Queen fatally shot on Java Drive on September 2.

Prosecutors said the dealer, Joshua Roberts, shot Queen and would not face any charges in her death. However, he was arrested for drug trafficking.

He told police he arranged the meeting to sell pot through social media, investigators said.

Roberts told police one of the teens pointed a gun at him shortly after he arrived, so he tried to leave.

Dann was arrested a day after the shooting. Police recovered shell casings from two different types of firearms at the scene.

Dann, who pleaded guilty in March, faces between 10 and 16 years in prison for his role in the attempted robbery that led to the fatal shooting.

Gabriel Waisanen also accepted a plea deal. Investigators say he provided the gun the teens used when they tried to detain the suspected drug dealer. He will be sentenced next week.
