One dead and two in critical condition at Central Point | Best Stories

CENTRAL POINT, Ore. – Central Point Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 2200 block of New Haven Drive in which three adults were stabbed and/or assaulted early Saturday morning.

According to a news release from Central Point police, the victims were transported to a local hospital where two victims, a man and a woman, are being treated for life-threatening injuries. A male victim died from his injuries.

An adult male is currently in custody and there does not appear to be any ongoing threat to the community.

Members of the Jackson County Major Assault and Death Investigation Unit, the Oregon State Police forensic unit, are assisting Central Point detectives with the investigation in course.
