One dead after Cincinnati police shoot stabbing suspect outside Music Hall

Police tell us District 3 officers initially responded to the 3300 block of Parkcrest Lane for a report of a woman stabbed. The suspect fled the scene, but a neighbor gave police a description of his vehicle, which was later spotted in Price Hill. Police Chief Teresa Theetge said a preliminary investigation revealed officers attempted to stop the vehicle, leading to a pursuit that ended with the suspect crashing near the intersection of 12th and Elm. She said the man exited his vehicle with a gun near the Cincinnati Music Hall and was shot by police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
