Adredini missed the man and ended up hitting Brenda Ann Whidbee who was sitting in a chair outside her home.

After the accident, Adredini tried to flee, but local residents managed to stop him.

Whidbee, a grandmother and member of her community for more than 40 years, was seriously injured. She was transported to Brookdale Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

“Today’s sentence holds this defendant accountable for her shocking and depraved actions that cost the life of an innocent woman,” Gonzalez said. “Even though nothing can bring Brenda Ann Whidbee back to her family and friends, I hope this sentence brings them some comfort.”
