YOU BROADCAST. TONIGHT, TWO 18-YEAR-OLDS FROM OMAHA WILL BE CONVICTED FOR THEIR ROLES IN A MURDER IN 2021. KWAN WHITE AND MARIANO FLORES WERE CONVICTED GUILTY OF MANY OFFENSES, INCLUDING FIRST DEGREE MURDER. OMAHA POLICE ARRESTED THEM IN 2022 FOR THE MURDER OF TIMOTHY WASHINGTON, THE THIRD WASHINGTON WAS FOUND DEAD NEAR 39TH AND AMES AVENUE IN JUNE 2021. WHITE AND FLORES WERE 15 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME. TWO OTHER WOMEN WERE INJURED BUT SURVIVED. POLICE ARRESTED A THIRD SUSPECT, NOAH KUNDA, NOW 17, ON SEVERAL CHARGES, INCLUDING FIRST DEGREE MURDER. But all but two of those crimes were dropped. KUNDA DID NOT CARRY OUT THE ROBBERY AND THEFT BY UNLAWFU

Two Omaha men were convicted of murdering Timothy Washington III in 2021. Court records show Mariano Flores and Quan White, now 18, were convicted of several crimes, including first-degree murder degree. Flores and White were 15 years old when Washington was shot and killed. The victim was found dead in June 2021 near 39th and Ames Avenue. Omaha police said two other women were shot and survived. Omaha police arrested a third suspect, Nowa Kawunda. The man, now 17, has also been charged with several crimes, including first-degree murder. Kawunda pleaded no contest to two counts; theft and theft by unlawful taking. The other charges were dropped.
