Omaha family takes teen's ashes on his final motorcycle ride

The family of a 17-year-old girl killed in a Mother's Day knife attack have held a memorial for their loved one.

Kianna Opal, 18, has been charged with the murder of Ezra Sinkiawic.

Sinkiawic's family took his ashes on a final motorcycle ride.

“I miss her so much. I miss her so much. And I just want her to come. And it didn't hit me that she wasn't coming home,” said Sinkiawic's mother, Angela Cunningham.

Opal was charged with first degree murder.

Prosecutors said Opal stabbed the victim in the chest with a kitchen knife “without saying anything.”

She is expected to return to court in July.
