Ollie Gordon Arrest Details

According to additional reporting from Oklahoma City-based KOCO, the officer who arrested Gordon around 2:30 a.m. said he smelled “an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage” on Gordon, who is 20. Gordon reportedly denied drinking, saying he was surrounded by friends who had been drinking. He then allegedly refused to take a field sobriety test before telling the officer he had consumed an alcoholic beverage.

The officer then allegedly asked Gordon if he had any alcohol in the vehicle, to which Gordon allegedly responded that he had two open containers of alcohol. The officer then said he found “a half-full bottle of vodka lemonade and a half-full bottle of tequila,” according to the report.

According to the report, the officer again asked Gordon if he would agree to take a field sobriety test, which he again refused. He was then arrested for driving under the age of 21, carrying an open container of alcohol, failure to travel in a single lane and speeding 16 to 20 mph over the speed limit.

Gordon reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .11 and .10 in two tests conducted in jail. The legal limit for alcohol consumption in the state of Oklahoma is .08.
