Officers respond to active shooter in Colerain Township Kroger; 1 person shot

One person was shot after officers responded to a report of an active shooter at a Colerain Township Kroger Wednesday afternoon. Police response came around 4 p.m. to the Kroger on Springdale Road near Colerain Avenue. According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, a shooter was active in the store. The sheriff said the threat is no longer active. Colerain Township police say the shooting involved a police officer and one person was shot. No officers were injured in the shooting. This is breaking news and will be updated as WLWT obtains more information.
