We can't speak for everyone, obviously, but we're pretty sure most of you missed this awesome Legend of Zelda weapon.

Given how old this retro experience is, we tend to assume we know everything: after all, we've had years to play it.

However, The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of time Players discover (the hard way) how wrong such assumptions can be.

During a discussion on Reddit highlighting all aspects of Ocarina of Time You may not know this, but it has been revealed that a simple disposable object has power. Real power. As in the “Swordsman” levels.

What is this invaluable weapon, you hear yourself asking – it's none other than a Deku Staff. No seriously.

As user my5ticdrag0n revealed, “If you use a Deku Stick on Queen Ghoma, she will die much faster. »

Given how shocked we were to learn this, it's no surprise that other players were also impressed by this information.

“This is for real, Deku Sticks are actually pretty strong,” Denana explained. Another user then added that Deku Sticks do about “the same amount of damage” as the jump move.

Apparently, it's one of the “strongest” weapons little Link (aka Child Link) can use; for context, the Kokiri Sword “only does two damage”, while a Deku Staff does four “or something”.
