Ocala teen killed, driver and child seriously injured in crash on CR 484

An 18-year-old Ocala woman was killed and two other people, including a 2-year-old boy, were seriously injured after their vehicle was involved in a crash on County Road 484.

The fatal crash occurred near the intersection of CR 484 and SW 95th Circle on Saturday, June 8 at approximately 4:42 p.m.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old Ocala man was driving a sedan southbound on SW 95th Circle in the right turn lane.

The vehicle entered the highway's intersection with CR 484, where it was struck on the left side by a pickup truck driven by a 43-year-old Minneola man.

After the collision, both vehicles came to a stop along the south shoulder of CR 484.

The driver of the sedan is in critical condition. A 2-year-old passenger in the vehicle is in serious condition.

An 18-year-old female passenger in the vehicle was killed in the accident.

All three individuals in the sedan were wearing seat belts, according to the report.

The driver of the other vehicle and his passengers, a 38-year-old woman and a 2-year-old boy, both from Minneola, were not injured in the crash.

No additional details about the fatal crash were provided by authorities.
