NYPD seeks help identifying suspect in subway groping incident

NEW YORK, New York — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a man involved in a forcible touching incident on the subway. The incident occurred in Precinct 24 and Transit District 3.

On Saturday, May 18, around 10:40 p.m., a 21-year-old woman was approached on the north platform of the “A” train, where the suspect allegedly grabbed her buttocks. No one was injured in the incident. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, between 30 and 35 years old, of medium build, approximately 5'7″, weighing 175 pounds, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a sweatshirt -black hooded shirt, dark colored pants and a black baseball cap Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to help identify the suspect.
