NYPD seeks help finding missing Staten Island teen

STATEN ISLAND, New York—The New York City Police Department is urgently seeking the public's assistance in locating Ariyah Garcia-Smith, a 13-year-old girl reported missing from her Staten Island home. Garcia-Smith, a black Hispanic woman, was last seen early Saturday morning at her residence.

According to police reports, Ariyah was last seen around 5 a.m. on June 1. She is approximately 5’6″ tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

At the time of her disappearance, Ariyah was wearing a black shirt, camouflage shorts and black shoes. The NYPD's 121 Precinct, which oversees his area, is handling the case and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
