NYPD identifies man stabbed to death in Brooklyn

Fatal stabbing incident in Brooklyn, New York

On Friday, police responded to a 911 call reporting a man had been stabbed at 90 Sand Street in the 84th Precinct. When they arrived around 8:02 a.m., officers found Thomas Machalchick, 37, with a stab wound to his torso.

EMS transported him to Brooklyn Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

So far no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
