NYC woman allegedly stabbed man to death, charged with murder: NYPD

THE BRONX, NY (PIX11) – A 60-year-old woman has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a man to death inside the Walton Henwood Apartments in the Bronx Saturday morning, police said.

Officers from the 46th Precinct responded to a 911 call for help at 1752 Walton Avenue a few minutes just after 10 a.m. Officers found a 32-year-old man unresponsive and unresponsive; he had several stab wounds to his chest, authorities said.


Emergency medical services were called, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Law enforcement sources told PIX11 News that the 60-year-old attacker, identified as Jacqueline Ratliff, and the 32-year-old victim are known acquaintances.

Ratliff was arrested at the scene and faces the following charges:

  • Murder
  • First degree manslaughter
  • and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

The identity of the victim has been withheld pending notification of family, authorities said.
