NVIDIA announces “Project G-Assist”, a game assist AI that can answer questions such as “What is the most powerful weapon at the start?” », “What skills do I need to improve? and “Change settings so you can maintain 60 frames per second.”

ARK: Survival Ascended, to create a demo of the G-Assist project. The G-Assist Project screen is overlaid on the game screen and questions can be entered by text or voice.

For example, if you ask into the microphone: “What is the best early game weapon?” What materials do you need to make it? the AI ​​will respond via text and voice with information such as “Spears are best in the early game” or “To make a spear you need wood, flint, and fiber.”

Project G-Assist can also read game screen content and answer questions. In the example below, when a dinosaur appears on the screen, the user asks, “What do I need to ride this dinosaur?” » The G-Assist project correctly identifies the dinosaur on screen as a Triceratops and gives a hint on how to ride a Triceratops.
