North Texas fire chief among 14 men arrested in prostitution sting, authorities say

DENTON COUNTY, TX – Fourteen men, including a North Texas fire chief, are behind bars facing prostitution-related charges, according to a press release from the Denton County Sheriff's Office.

Denton County deputies executed a search warrant Thursday in Lewisville, Texas.

Authorities said 14 men were arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution, a state prison felony.

Highland Village Fire Chief Jason Collier was among 14 men charged and arrested, authorities said.

The sheriff's office said Collier faces charges of soliciting prostitution and resisting arrest. Collier has worked for the Highland Village Fire Department since 2008, FOX 4 reported.

The 14 men arrested were:

  • Michael Allman of Lewisville, Texas

  • Bryson Brown of Salisbury, North Carolina

  • Robert Busch of Denton, Texas

  • Kashyapsinh Chauhan of Arlington, Texas

  • Jason Collier of Corinth, Texas

  • Ricky Davis of Carrollton, Texas

  • Donald Ray Ford Jr. of Frisco, Texas

  • James Hiatt of Lewisville, Texas

  • James Arthur Jackson Jr. of Lewisville, Texas

  • Jakari Johnson of Lewisville, Texas

  • Victor Matute of Denton, Texas

  • Demetrio Santiago of Whitesboro, Texas

  • Javier Trinidad of Lewisville, Texas

  • Abin Varghese of Carrollton, Texas
