North Sioux City Police Department asking for help identifying suspect

NORTH SIOUX CITY SD (KTIV) – The North Sioux City Police Department needs the public's help in identifying a suspect.

The individual was allegedly in possession of a vehicle that was seized on Wednesday, June 12, according to the North Sioux City Police Department Facebook page.

After a report was filed with the Sioux City Police Department, the subject went to a Casey's General Store located in North Sioux City. Authorities say the suspect allegedly used bank cards belonging to the victim, but they were declined.

Officers said early in the morning of Friday, June 14, the vehicle was found near River Drive and Merril Ave.

Officers later said Friday, June 14, that they discovered a secondary vehicle had been stolen from the area. Authorities say the stolen vehicle is a white 1999 Chevrolet S10 with South Dakota license plate 62RF58.
