North Port woman arrested after stealing boat in Port Charlotte

A North Port woman was arrested Monday after she stole a boat and tried to drive away from deputies in Port Charlotte. Shannon Kraham, 41, allegedly stole the boat from Lashley Marina. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 12:07 p.m. Upon arrival, officers observed the boat and suspect located immediately adjacent to the rocks on the east side of the northbound US-41 Bridge on the Charlotte Harbor Waterway. .
