No one was injured in a fire near Erie early Friday morning.

According to a Facebook post, Mountain View firefighters responded to a call about a fire on 119th Street, just outside of Erie. Crews arrived to find a tree on fire, and the flames were spreading to a small fence.

Rick Tillery, a spokesman for Mountain View, said a call about the fire came in around 1:30 a.m. The Facebook post said the fire was extinguished and contained within 30 minutes. Crews were also able to secure nearby animals.

Tillery said a fire marshal was on scene investigating the incident.
