Nicki Minaj claims 'sabotage' during her Amsterdam detention for alleged drug possession

Queen of rap, Nicki Minaj was arrested in Amsterdam last weekend while she was Pink Friday 2 World Your. Authorities detained Minaj on charges that she was in possession of drugs, specifically marijuana.

The artist took to her social media to live-post and post information about the authorities who approached and arrested her for her alleged drug possession. The footage showed her speaking with police, which ultimately led to her entering the vehicle's holding cell. The video was posted on her Instagram Live as she was arrested by a police officer who claimed she had drugs. Minaj can be heard vehemently denying any drugs in her current possession: “I don’t carry drugs. I'm not going into that. I need a lawyer present. I need a lawyer present now. Where am I going?”

Minaj was on her way to her show in Manchester and kept asking, “What am I doing?” Oh, so I'm under arrest? Under arrest for what? Her performance in Manchester was subsequently canceled an hour and a half after the official start time and was rescheduled. After she was able to leave, Minaj went to X to claim that the events were due to “sabotage.” Amsterdam police said they found marijuana in his bag, which they said belonged to one of his security guards. She said: “Now they said they found some weed and another group of people had to come here to weigh the pre-rolls. Keep in mind that they took my luggage without my consent. My security has already told them that these pre-rolls belong to him. Oh yeah and the pilot wants me to delete my Instagram post.

The artist is currently at large and continued his tour across Europe which ends in July.
