Nicki Minaj apparently arrested in Netherlands after incident involving her luggage

Nicki Minaj has reportedly been arrested by police in the Netherlands following an incident involving her luggage, according to the rapper's social media posts.

The rapper was traveling to Manchester, England from Amsterdam, Netherlands for a concert on her “Pink Friday 2 World Tour.” Minaj, 41, real name Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, is due to perform at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on Saturday night.

When asked if the rapper had been taken into custody, a Dutch police spokesperson said they had “arrested a 41-year-old American woman at Schiphol Airport for possession of soft drugs.” .

In video she shared on X Saturday afternoon, we see Minaj being told that her luggage needs to be searched.

“I’m really sorry to say that,” a man told him at the airport.

“But isn't that what you planned to do from the start? Why didn't you search him before he got on the plane,” she replies.

The man says they did a “random quick check” but need to open the luggage.

In subsequent messages, Minaj said she thought people were trying to “stop this tour” and were lying to her.

“They took my luggage and when I asked where it was they said they were on the plane. That couldn't have been the case, I stopped,” she said declared. “I never gave them my bags. They refuse to let me see my own bags.”

In another post, she wrote: “They're getting paid a lot of money to try to sabotage my tour because so many people are furious that it's such a success and they can't eat me. They were caught trying of stealing money on my trip. /jets.

“This is how they put things in your luggage,” read another.

In her latest post, Minaj said she was told she had to “leave in 5 minutes to make a statement regarding my safety at the police station.”
