New Yorker linked to European royalty missing in Malibu

Authorities continue to search for a 53-year-old New Yorker with ties to Greek and Danish royalty who went missing in Malibu, sheriff's officials said over the weekend.

Attilio Brillembourg was last seen around 1:10 a.m. May 18 in the 6000 block of Murphy Way, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Brillembourg was described as a 5-foot-10, 165-pound white man with gray hair, green eyes and an unknown tattoo on his upper thigh. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, gray pants and no shoes.

“There are concerns for the well-being of Mr. Brillemboug,” the sheriff’s department said.
