New York slasher nicknamed 'Bad Bitch' arrested for murder outside illegal nightclub (police)

An accused slasher nicknamed “Bad Bitch” was arrested Wednesday for fatally slitting the throat of a mother of three during a wild brawl in the Bronx, officials said.

Ashley Smith, 37, was partying with friends at an illegal club in Williamsbridge on June 1 when a fight broke out, knocking one of her friends to the ground and prompting the bouncer to kick everyone outside, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said. Tuesday.

The fight — which involved dozens of customers — started around 6 a.m. and then continued spilling onto the sidewalk in front of 1418 Oakley Street.

“Once everyone took to the streets, about 40 people started fighting,” Kenny told reporters.

That's when Jalessa Richardson, 33, allegedly punched Smith in the neck, cutting his left jugular, according to cops.

Smith, a mother of three from Mount Vernon, was rushed to New York/Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where she died.

Richardson, nicknamed “Bad Bitch” and “Duchess Dior,” then fled the scene.

The remains of the brawl littered the sidewalk, with Smith's giant gold bracelets and broken pink fingernails still on the blood-soaked ground hours after the stabbing.

Smith is remembered as a beloved daughter on a GoFundMe page.

“Ashley was taken from us far too soon and she did not deserve to leave us in a horrible way,” wrote her mother, Monique Smith.

“My daughter was an energetic, fun-loving soul.”

Meanwhile, police focused on Richardson after witnesses provided videos of the violent encounter and investigators scoured his social media, Kenny said.

Richardson was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

She was previously arrested once for drug trafficking in 2014, police said.

Richardson awaited his arraignment Wednesday afternoon.
