The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) has launched its new podcast, Missing and Not Forgotten: Fulfilling Our Nation's Promise, dedicated to ongoing efforts to search, recover and identify Americans missing in action from the nation's past conflicts. Episodes can be found on DVIDS, Spotify, Apple Podcast, YouTube and Amazon Music.

DPAA Media Relations Manager and Podcast Host Sean Everette will discuss topics including mission updates, new developments, current events and more. With the emergence of new technologies and forensic advancements, the DPAA Podcast keeps listeners informed of the innovative approaches used in the noble mission to account for the Nation's missing.

“A DPAA podcast has been on the drawing board for a few years now, and I’m beyond excited to finally make it a reality,” Everette said. “There are so many fascinating stories to tell, from the heroes we identify to the science behind those identifications, and we can't wait to share them all! »

Each episode will give listeners a behind-the-scenes look at DPAA with guest speakers such as the agency's director, Kelly McKeague.

“Along with our social media platforms, this new podcast serves as a valuable resource for communicating the multiple aspects of our sacred mission,” McKeague said. “Our civilian and military professionals will share interesting information with those interested in gaining insight into DPAA.”
