Authorities released new video from the scene Thursday and said at least 16 people brandished guns during the shooting at the crowded park. A 911 caller reported spotting “at least two automatic weapons,” the FOX 8 Investigative Team reported.

Authorities arrested a 17-year-old at the scene, alleging he was carrying a stolen weapon.

“We are working to identify the suspects involved in this incident and are utilizing all available law enforcement resources,” Cleveland Metroparks Police Chief Kelly Stillman said. “This type of criminal behavior will not be tolerated anywhere in the Cleveland Metroparks and we are working in close coordination with our law enforcement partners to identify and prosecute all suspects to the fullest extent of the law.”

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463. Tips can be submitted anonymously.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of those responsible.

“There are people in this community who continue to make excuses for this type of behavior,” said Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O'Malley. “They need to wake up and understand that this type of violence will end in loss of life and destroy our community. »
