New photos of missing 19-year-old Jay Slater show the teenager chatting to friends at a hotel pool party in Tenerife, just two days before he disappeared.

Dressed in a camouflage-style swimsuit, lounging by the pool at a Hard Rock hotel in Tenerife, these are the last photos released of missing British teenager Jay Slater.

The photos show the 19-year-old apprentice bricklayer in the Spanish holiday island resort of Playa de las Americas alongside dozens of other tourists, including his friend Lucy Mae Law.

They were taken at a pool party on the second day of the NRG festival, June 15, just two days before her disappearance.

The photos were posted by a Scottish holidaymaker, who we are not identifying. She wrote: “Just came across this in my camera roll. I don't know if they could be of any help, Jay sort of seems to be standing around (alone) while Lucy talks to her other friends.

Jay disappeared without a trace on the morning of Monday, June 17 after enjoying the last night of a three-day rave at Papagayo Beach Club. He was last seen at 8.15am going up from the village of Masca, in the Teno Rural Park, northwest of Tenerife.

After returning to an Airbnb near the remote village of Masca with two men he met on vacation, Jay phoned Lucy at 8:50 a.m. to tell her he was “tired, thirsty and disoriented” with just 1% battery. on his phone.

It's been 10 days since Jay went missing and police still don't know where he is. Yesterday, emergency services were using helicopters and drones to search a specific area of Masca, where Jay's phone last rang.

Ophelia Medina Hernandez, the last person to see him, revealed to MailOnline that she had told him earlier that the next bus to Playa de las Americas, 19 miles away, was at 10am.

It is presented in the form:

  • Spanish police send drones as they continue search for missing British teenager;
  • Jay's mother said she was at her wit's end and revealed his ex-girlfriend Jessica Ingham was among those who traveled to Tenerife with him;
  • Internet crime detectives with no connection to Jay have flown to Tenerife to join the hunt;
  • Jay's father accused Spanish police of keeping the family in the dark.
Wearing a camouflage-style swimsuit, the photo was taken on the second day of the NRG festival at a pool party which was described on social media as “epic”.
Additionally, in the photo, with her back to the camera, wearing a white skirt, Jay's friend Lucy Mae Law, 19, is seen on the left, and it was taken on June 15 – just two days before his disappearance.

It was her last interaction with him and his phone rang shortly afterwards from a mobile phone mast overlooking the Masca Gorge beauty spot, 800 meters from the village centre.

He had arrived there with two Brits who had come from Playa de las Americas with Jay after the end of a festival after party at the Papagayo nightclub.

The men are believed to be in their late 30s to early 40s. They rented a £40 AirBnB in the remote village but are known to have travelled daily to the three-day festival.

This raised the question of why two men would rent a secluded apartment miles from the hedonistic nightlife of Playa de las Americas and drive two hours a day.

Since Jay's disappearance, police and mountain rescue teams have combed a large area of the park using drones, dogs and helicopters, but have found no trace of him.

His parents Debbie Duncan, 55, and Warren Slater, 58, as well as his brother Zak Slater, 24, all traveled to Tenerife to help with the hunt and are said to be at “breaking point”.

They flew from their home in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, and vowed to stay in Tenerife until they found Jay, but as time passed and with no further trace, fears grew for his safety .

Television investigator Mark Williams-Thomas, who is in contact with the family, said he has two working theories: Either he had an accident and is on the mountain, or a criminal party is involved.

He also asked the two men who accompanied Jay to come forward or he will “post a photo of one of them.”

Spanish police, who rejected an offer of help from British police, made no comment on the speculation or the presence of Mr Williams-Thomas.

The last confirmed sighting of Jay Slater (pictured) was around 8am last Monday by a woman who told him the bus was due at 10am when he asked.

Jay called his friend Lucy Mae Law (pictured), 18, to tell her he was “lost in the mountains, with no water, one percent battery” and that he had cut his leg on a cactus.

This is the CCTV image Jay Slater's family are hoping and praying for him – more than a week after he mysteriously disappeared in Tenerife.

Emilio José Navarro Castanedo gave an interview saying he spoke to locals who said they “saw him looking at the Euros on the coast.” Mr Navarro Castanedo said he did not know in which bars residents had seen the man, or at what time or date.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Mr Navarro Castanedo said: “There has been a lot of fake news and misunderstanding about what I said.

“To be clear, I didn't say I saw him watching football, locals told me they heard from others that they saw someone looking like this boy in a bar in Los Gigantes, further along the coast.

“I don't know if it was him, but vacationers his age all dress the same and I don't know which bars he was seen in, I don't know if the police came by, They don't tell me about their investigation.

“I know that local police have spoken to these people who said they saw him cheering in a bar while watching football.

“I don't know when he was supposed to have been seen, but it was probably certainly within a few days of his disappearance, but I must stress that this is unconfirmed information and only what has been reported. said.”

School finance manager Debbie Duncan, 55, told MailOnline she was at the end of her rope and worried

His distraught parents, Debbie Duncan, 55, and Warren Slater, 58 (right) as well as his brother Zak Slater, 24 (left) have all traveled to Tenerife to help with the hunt and are said to be at the 'point of rupture”.
Television investigator Mark Williams-Thomas, who is in contact with the family, said he has two working theories: He had an accident and is on the mountain or a criminal party is involved.

The development came as one of Jay's friends lashed out at internet sleuths and online trolls who accused him of being linked to the disappearance.

Bradley Hargreaves, 19, arrived on the sunny Spanish island with Jay, for their first boys' holiday abroad and attended the high-octane NRG festival.

It was following an after-party at the Papagayo's nightclub, in the hotspot of Playa de las Americas, that the apprentice mason disappeared on June 17.

Posting on social media, Bradley said: “I don't know why I have to jump on here to explain myself to the Facebook world, but if any of you believe me, his best friend had something to do with his disappearance, you are honestly not all there.

“I've known Jay most of my life from going to all these raves and such and this was our first stag holiday with him. No one knows the real story, not even me, because there is no factual story that has come out, just a bunch of bullshit that has been said by different people.

“I won't say much about it here anyway, but I just thought I would.”

Among those who commented on his post was Lucy, the last friend Jay was in contact with and who spoke to him at 8:50 a.m. on the day he disappeared. She posted an emoji of praying hands and hearts adding: “We will find him.”

Jay's mother revealed she was at the end of her rope and worried. Speaking, Debbie revealed that among those who had traveled to the Spanish holiday island was her son's former girlfriend Jessica Ingham.

Debbie, 55, the school's finance manager, told MailOnline: 'It's been a week now and it's horrible. I've barely slept and I'm at the end of my tether.

“The Spanish police do a good job and we are informed by the consulate, so we trust them.”

“I know people in the UK have also come forward and were at the festival and have given details of what they know, but I haven't been told about it.”
