New NH Bus Terminal Opens After Fire, Explosion Injure 2 Workers

A new bus terminal opened in Bradford on Friday, two years after a fire and explosion at the site injured two workers. The 5-alarm fire in the warehouse that housed the Kearsarge School District's school buses was destroyed in a fire following an explosion in March 2022. Student Transportation of America held a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new terminal on Route 114 in Bradford on Friday. "We appreciate all the help and support the community has given us over the years to get to this point. Everyone can gather in one area, buses park here, it's a community feeling, d "employment, as well as a place where our customers can come and visit us," said Stacy Emerson, executive director of STA. The new terminal has a three-bay garage, kitchenette and security equipment. The bus station will serve the Kearsarge Regional School District.
