New Jersey State Police seek suspect in Hardwick Township stabbing

Hardwick Township, New Jersey – New Jersey State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect involved in a stabbing that occurred the evening of July 2 in Hardwick Township, Warren County. Officers were dispatched to a residence on Meadow Cliff Lane around 10:20 p.m. following reports of a stabbing.

The suspect, identified as Nelson Ariel Orellana-Vargas, 23, is described as a Hispanic male, 5'1″ tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with a dragon motif and jeans. Orellana-Vargas fled the scene immediately after the incident.

Anyone with information on Orellana-Vargas' whereabouts is encouraged to contact Troop “B” Hope Station at (908)-459-5098.

  • Robbery reported in Glen Burnie, two suspects arrested

    Glen Burnie, MD – On Sunday at approximately 10:50 p.m., a 54-year-old man reported a robbery to the North District Police Department. The incident occurred in the parking lot of 7319 Ritchie Highway. The victim reported being approached by several men dressed in black who demanded money. One suspect brandished a handgun, while another threatened him with an aluminum baseball bat.

    The police immediately intervened and launched a search for the suspects. Two suspects were located and arrested. They recovered an airsoft gun and an aluminum baseball bat.

    Northern District detectives are actively investigating to identify and locate the remaining suspects.

  • Copper theft under investigation in Manchester Township

    MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, PA – The Northern York County Regional Police Department is currently investigating a major theft of copper that occurred on June 18 from the Met-Ed Supply Yard. The incident involved a suspect who forced entry into the premises by cutting through a chain-link fence at the corner of Willis Ln. and Pennsylvania Ave.

    After breaching the perimeter, the suspect managed to steal a large quantity of copper. Authorities have released a photo of the suspect and are asking for the public's help in identifying the individual involved.
