In the suit, Fiona claims Netflix “defames her by stating on the show that she is a twice-convicted stalker sentenced to five years in prison for sexual assault.” THR reports.

According to the claim, they “told lies and never stopped, because it was a better story than the truth, and the best stories made money.”

The lawsuit seeks at least $120 million in injunctive relief, including profits from the series, as the claims include defamation, negligence and right of publicity violations.

“He never investigated whether Harvey was found guilty, a very serious misrepresentation of the facts,” the lawsuit states. “It did nothing to understand the relationship between Gadd And Harvey, if only. This did nothing to determine whether other facts, including an assault, the alleged harassment or the conviction, were accurate.

Baby reindeer follows struggling comedian Donny Dunn's (Richard Gadd) distorted relationship with his stalker and the impact it has on him as he is ultimately forced to confront deeply buried trauma.

In the series, Martha is shown to have served prison time for stalking Dunn and another woman, as well as stalking a police officer and sexually assaulting Dunn.

Fiona says she has never been convicted of a crime and denies stalking or assaulting Richard Gadd.

Previously, Fiona Harvey gave a TV interview and explained what she believes to be true about the show and what isn't.
