PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WCMH) — Scioto County law enforcement found several firearms as well as an array of narcotics while executing arrest warrants in a separate court case.

Randi Davis, 35, had two warrants out for her arrest after she failed to appear for several hearings, according to Scioto County Common Pleas Court records. She had two active files for several criminal charges, including:

  • Two counts of cocaine trafficking
  • Two counts of possession of cocaine
  • Possessing weapons while under disability, in a separate case

The U.S. Marshals Service took Davis into custody Tuesday, but also notified a local group of law enforcement about possible narcotics they found in a Portsmouth home during his arrest. The Scioto County Sheriff's Office said investigators then obtained a warrant to search a residence near Terrace Avenue, where they found several drugs worth approximately $6,700:

  • 61 grams of suspected crystal meth
  • 30 grams of suspected fentanyl
  • Seven grams of suspected crack

Investigators also seized 17 firearms, including rifles and handguns. The sheriff's office did not mention new charges against Davis following his arrest, but said a Scioto County grand jury may consider indicting him for other crimes.

Davis was represented in her disability weapons case by Columbus defense attorney Sam Shamansky, the same attorney representing murder suspect Pammy Maye. After she failed to appear at several hearings until early 2024, he withdrew on April 9 from representing her in the case. As of Wednesday, Davis did not have an attorney listed on file for that case or the trafficking case in court records.
