Nassau County community honors fallen law enforcement officers in ceremony

Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper said he wanted to thank everyone who attended the 2024 Law Enforcement Memorial Wednesday morning.

Nassau County honored its fallen heroes Wednesday at the Nassau County Sheriff's Office Memorial Wall and paid tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the community.

“This memorial service honors the service and dedication of our fallen officers. This ensures that their names, sacrifices and contributions to public safety will never be forgotten,” said Sheriff Leeper.
