Mumbai Teen Drives Father's BMW With Man Lying On Hood In Kalyan, 2 Arrested

A man was arrested in Mumbai after a video went viral on social media showing him lying on the hood of a BMW driven by a 17-year-old boy, police said on Monday. The boy's father was also arrested.

In the viral video, the man, identified as Subham Matalia, can be seen lying on a BMW hood as the teenager drives the car on the busy roads in Shivaji Chowk area of ​​Mumbai's Kalyan.

Pedestrians and other vehicle drivers who shot the video were amazed to see the stunt as Matalia sat on the hood with her legs spread, enjoying the ride.

The BMW is registered in the name of the teenager's father. Matalia (21) and the father of the teenager who was driving the car were arrested by the Kalyan police.

Further investigation into this matter is underway.

The incident occurs in the middle of outcry following an accident involving a Porsche driven by a 17-year-old boy, leading to the death of two people in Pune.

The police say that teenager, son of a renowned builder from Pune, was drunk at the time of the accident.

Following the outcry over the release of the teenager on bail within 15 hours of his arrest, the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) remanded the accused to a remand center for 14 days, until June 5 . The minor's father was also taken into custody.
