Mt. Hope man dies after fatal stabbing

A man has died following a fatal stabbing in the Mt. Hope section of the Bronx, police said.

A police spokesperson said that on Wednesday, June 12 at approximately 9:16 p.m., officers from the 46th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been stabbed near Echo Place and East Tremont Avenue .

“Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified adult male with a stab wound to the chest,” the spokesperson said. “EMS responded and transported the victim to Saint-Barnabé hospital where he was pronounced dead. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation continues.
