MPD: Man Dead, Inmate After Stabbing in Southeast Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police say a man is dead and one person has been arrested after a stabbing in southeast Memphis.

MPD officers responded to the stabbing call around 9:10 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2024, in the 2800 block of Georgetown Dr., just west of Getwell. They found a man dead at the scene.

Investigators said one person was arrested. They did not specify what led to the attack.
