MPD arrests man in connection with stabbing in Northeast Washington

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred Wednesday in Northeast Washington.

MPD said they responded to the 1100 block of 45^th Street shortly before 1 p.m. for the report of a knife attack.

When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been stabbed.

He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Friday, police arrested and charged Ray Charles Stover, 44, with assault with a weapon.
