Motorcyclist dies in Southeast Portland crash with marked car

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The motorcyclist who died after crash into a car in Southeast Portland Wednesday evening has been identified, according to Portland police.

Shortly after 11 p.m., authorities said Phillip Taylor, 22, was driving southbound on Southeast 112th Avenue when he struck a car traveling eastbound on Southeast Flavel Street, driven by a woman from 66 years old.


The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.

The crash remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.
